RF/Microwave Design/Applications Engineer
Hands-on design engineer of 100Mhz -3.5Ghz RF Power transistor devices, application boards and Class A, B, AB and C amplifier designs. The position involves the DC, small signal RF, large signal RF, Load Pull and thermal characterization of RF power transistors under various stimulus conditions (CW, pulsed, 2 tone, and multi carrier modulation formats).
Requirements
BS in Electrical Engineering with 7-10+ years direct experience in the RF/DC/Thermal/Switching behavior/operation of RF Power transistors, design of power amplifiers and RF/Microwave matching circuits.
- Experienced in the use of modern RF/Microwave linear and non-linear simulations tools.
- Experienced in the use of 2.5D EM design tools
- Bench level experience in the construction and measurement of RF amplifier circuits
- Bench level experience with RF bench measurement techniques for characterization of Gain, Efficiency, IMD, ACP, Return Loss and Ruggedness.
- Experience with vector networks analysis, de-embedding techniques and load pull measurement techniques.
- Familiarity with modern RF Power packaging technologies and materials (Ceramic and Plastic).
